meditick — pill timer & reminder

privacy policy

effective july 18, 2026 · tinkersmithstudio

The short version: your health data never leaves your phone. MediTick has no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no cloud database. We couldn't read your medication list if we wanted to — and we don't want to.

1. what we collect

Nothing, by default. Your medications, schedules, dose history, notes, streaks and settings are stored only on your device, as a single local file. We operate no server that receives this data.

2. what stays on your device

3. optional icloud sync

If your device has iCloud enabled, your meal times only may sync across your own devices via Apple's iCloud key-value storage. This data lives in your personal iCloud account, governed by Apple's privacy terms; we never see it.

4. subscriptions (revenuecat)

MediTick Pro purchases are processed by Apple. To know whether your subscription is active, the app uses RevenueCat, our only third-party SDK. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-user identifier and Apple transaction information (product, purchase date, renewal state). It never receives your health data. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.

5. notifications

Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. Notification content (medication names) is composed on-device and shown only on your screen; enable "hide previews" in iOS Settings if you don't want names visible on the lock screen.

6. your controls

7. children

MediTick is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any data from them (or anyone).

8. changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date. Material changes will be called out in the app's release notes.
